Good luck with that.

I'll play along.

Sarah Palin is one of the most inspiring women of the 21st century. She is also very bright, a fact that is not diminished by an act of writing notes on her hand in order to remember 3 key points she wishes to discuss.

She also dresses well without GOP handlers going on a shopping spree, and is unfairly targeted and ridiculed by people with a hatred of everything she stands for (freedom, America, and the sort). This should not offend anyone who loves America, as Sarah does, or who ridicules fairly, as Sarah does.

Re: Palination 2010

Let's talk about Perry.

He very well may lose to Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchinson in the Republican Governor's Primary.

Would you want a loser on your ticket?

I can't answer this without more important information:

Does he dress well? Ever caught with his hand in the Sharpie jar? Any handicapped kids? Does he agree with the Obama Doctrine? What's his World View?

Re: Palination 2010

Does he dress well? - Well, ZZ Top did write that song about him...

Ever caught with his hand in the Sharpie jar? - I think he has an iPhone for that purpose

Any handicapped kids? - Depends. Do 24,782,302 Texans count as "kids"?

Does he agree with the Obama Doctrine? - Depends on what Glenn is claiming it is this week.

What's his World View? - Flat.

Palin probably smells good.

That's all I've got.

I think she will be happy to be a campaign raiser and a huge money maker, and not bother with running again.

Why not? She can always resign.

I don't believe that. I think she wants to be the active player in 2012.

Re: Palination 2010

I think she'll run, but she'll half-ass it like Rudy or Fred Thompson did in 2008. Whether her personal charisma will be enough to overcome the fact that she won't put in the work on the ground is anyone's guess, but my guess is not.

Well, she's still a former GILF, so there's always that in her corner. Possibility of becoming a PILF? 0%.

She still is a GILF, just the G stands for Grandmother not Governor.

Re: Palination 2010

She doesn't strike me as someone who can adequately represent America as our political and military leader. Then again, Bush didn't strike me as someone who could adequately represent America (and, in my opinion, he didn't adequately represent us), and he still managed to get two terms.

Edit: I should mention, and have mentioned before, that I love Palin as a personality. Somebody needs to give her a talk show on CBS or something.

Would any Republican adequately represent America in your opinion?

Re: Palination 2010

Sure. It's not about their party affiliation (I'm an independent), but about how they come off as a potential leader. I don't think Palin or W. do come off as leaders. Reagan did, McCain could have around 2000, Giuliani could now. I don't necessarily agree with all the policies of all those people, but at least they came off like someone who could lead the free world.

When was the last time we had a president come out of the press corpse?

I think we've lost sight of the President as a steward of an America necessarily beyond his control.

You live by the bible and God must be proud of you Sarah.
So of course the liberals hate you.

Do you believe that George H. W. Bush was a leader of the free world?

He did gather quite a coalition to repel the Iraqis from Kuwait.

Do you see Obama as leader of the free world?

What is your criteria for 'representing America?'

It's all subjective, and entirely my opinion. Some people come off as leaders, some don't. Palin's constant reiteration of the same few talking points (and her tendency to get facts wrong and run off the rails when not on script) during the last election led me to believe she couldn't adequately represent us on the world stage.
