There's no doubt Governor Palin gets a lot of attention from the left. But it would be extraordinarily foolish to suppose all of the attention, or even the majority of ti, is coming from the left. She's got a host of cheerleaders who sympathize with her politics.

Agreed. If conservatives were not interested in what Palin had to say, she never would have been hired as a contributor to Fox News.

Do you think that most liberals are actually interested in what Al Sharpton has to say? (If that has too many "racial" implications, throw in Schultz, Hayes, & Matthews). Same for conservatives...while I'm sure that every media person has his/her True Beliebers, most I know would only listen to Beck, Hannity, van Susteren, O'Reilly, etc. for the entertainment value even while agreeing with a lot of their premises.

Heck, I occasionally watch MSNBC just for giggles. Doesn't mean that I'm actually "interested" in the content, which is generally no more relevant than what's on Primetime Fox News.

Palin has name recognition, but if she didn't draw such a visceral reaction from liberals, she'd never get the gig. Also, if she was homely as a mud fence, she wouldn't be hired as a 'contributor' since she doesn't have van Susteren's credentials (let's face it, Greta kind of stands out among the usual Fox female coterie).

She has a huge following of homely women in the heartland, excuse me, "real America" is I believe what Palin called it.

Megadittos!

No, wait. Not megadittos. Ten minutes listening to the call-in portion of any political talk show will disabuse you of the notion that the personalities don't have tons of true believers in their audience.

What do you think about Rachel Maddow? She's a real beauty, isn't she?

Sarah Palin comments on Chris Christie woes

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin took a swipe at New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, saying when she was her state’s executive, she knew what her aides were up to.
“I just don’t know all the information out there, but it’s hard to be the CEO of an organization and not know what the closest people to you are up to,” Palin said in an interview with “Inside Edition” that aired Tuesday. “I know when I was mayor and manager of this city and then governor of the state, certainly you know what your top aides are up to.”

Palin was asked about the controversy surrounding Christie, including allegations that his administration ordered lane closures on the George Washington Bridge as political retribution to a local mayor. Christie has denied any knowledge of or involvement in the closures, which, according to published email and text messages, were executed by members of his inner circle.
The one-time vice presidential candidate and perennial rumored presidential candidate said that elected officials have a duty to be truthful.
“I just want to make sure that every politician … that you don’t blow it, and you blow it if you ever try to hide anything,” Palin said. “Whatever’s hidden, eventually light shines upon it, and I just hope that truth is being told right now.”

Politicians are not CEOs, and silly sarah has even less experience being a business person than she does at being governor.

She's got some major psychological problems, perhaps deep-seated trauma, that she needs to treat.

Come on! Get realistic. She's a politician - that's all.

Agreed.

The people who support her, however, have got some major psychological problems, perhaps deep-seated trauma, that they need to treat.

What about the people who support Obama?

Or is it too late for treatment for those folks?

Re: The Re-Elect President Sarah Palin 2016 Thread

Rob Ford still has enough support to still be a contender in this year's mayoral election, when he should rightly be long gone and forgotten.
