I have some issues with the Democrats' positions on energy, though I don't think the Republicans' positions are much better.

I am more pro-free-trade than the Democratic Party as a whole.

I'd say taxes and spending...since I disagree with both parties on those

The issue of hipness. The Republican Party is not hip enough, in general.

It's not limited to the Republican or Democratic party.

Do you agree with every position the Libertarian Party holds?

I don't have a party but what I hate about all parties is that they are run with a gang mentality.

Not if it's Bob Barr's Libertarian Party.

Not my party either. I am OK with the word "libertarian" as an adjective, but not so fond of it as a proper noun.

I am an independent. I think all of you are idiots.

Why gives you the idea that I'm a Republican?

I assure you - I've been a Democrat, probably longer than you've been on this earth.

I'm conservative, but the Republican position on war and abortion is misguided and backward. I also can't stand the influence of religion over politics, which is a problem with any party, but popularly synonymous with modern Republicans. If McCain wasn't wrong on the war and abortion, I may have voted for him.

I'm not an actual member of any party, but I lean libertarian on a great many issues...

So I'll say that the Libertarian Party issues I disagree with would be school vouchers. I also tend to be a bit more economically moderate than the boilerplate libertarian laissez-faire position.

I don't have a party but if I were 100% Democrat I would be against their anti-gun stance and if I were 100% Republican I would be against their anti-abortion and current (maybe not so much now) evangelical slant.

I don't have any really strong disagreements with my party. I think they are a bit too protectionist sometimes on the free trade scale and I think that they are a bit too hardcore on gun laws at the national level. The assault weapon ban is mostly feel good legislation that doesn't stop criminals from purchasing illegal weapons illegally. It also hurts them politically in the rural areas. I think it should be handled at a state level. (Yes, I've been hanging around a lot of hunters lately).
