I find it really sad the US media is focusing mostly on the protestors, when this is a very clear indication that Bush's foriegn policy is changing a lot, and that he's trying to mend fences. Why aren't the right wingers running with this? the Left has been critizing him forever about how he doesn't care about anyone else, and how this makes him dangerous. Or how he's not compasionate and tolerant.

Maybe after the speech tomorrow...

It's snowing now in Ottawa and Bush put us on Terror Alert White
because he thought it was an Anthrax attack.

I got a kick out of his five-fingered-wave comment, too.

Did you guys see that clown Tucker Carlson yesterday? He has the balls to go on and make claims like "The average Canadian is dog sleading right now" and "Canada would be attacked by Norway" if the USA wasn't defending us.

Do Americans really find comments like this enlightening? It's losers like this who are given an international audience that make the relationship between our countries what it is today.

That's what you get for turning off the BBC.

Come on. It's Tucker Carlson. No one takes that guy seriously. Who ever thought they'd see a day when, if the average conservative was asked which Crossfire panel member they most hate, would actually have to stop to consider before blurting out "Carville!"

How do you see his foreign policy changing? I didn't get any of that...

Anyways, it's good he's trying to mend fences. We are neighbors and there's no need to not be more involved with each other, IMO.

I think it was great that he visited Halifax. They really did some great things during 9/11 with the diverted planes and should have been officially thanked long ago.

Dude. We're not France. Get me some skates and a stick and I'll go to war against Norway any day of the week!
