I guess that's to be expected considering the price of oil.

The news seems to be having some effect on the stock market.

Well - double digit inflation & double digit interest rates are just around the corner. Enjoy!

If my math is correct, annually it would be 21.6%.

If this keeps up, we'll long for the days of Jimmy.

The administration says not to worry. The President has the cure - another tax cut for the wealthy.

Small Correction: It's the Producer Price Index that rose 1.7 in October.

The so-called core-PPI, which excludes often volatile food and energy prices, rose 0.3 percent, the same as the increase in September and just a bit above economists' forecasts.
Economics is just as political as government. Depending on who you ask will depend on how they view what is happening. As you can see with this stat, if you remove the huge increases in the price of oil (nothing to celebrate), you get nothing to brag about.

Raise it 10 percent...no make it twenny then y'all can tithe ten percent and still have ten percent in your pocket.

And we have a new nominee for Secretary of the Treasury. He can count to three without hep.

Stutterin' Dub has to be naked to count to twenty-one.
