I'm hearing that he said he celebrates the death of Arafat and that the media talking about arafat more than Veteran's Day is wrong

Not to diminish the importance and significance of Veteran's Day, but which is the major news story?

That Arafat is dead or that today is Veteran's Day?

They _should_ be talking more about Arafat's death. That's some pretty major news with significant implications in the world.

Ah, is that the guy with the cool show on the history channel?

I'm celebrating Mr. Arafat's death also and wish news would not do so many stories on him. But even without Arafat's death, our news haven't paid much attention to V-Day, since they cover other current news.

Arafat had some nerve to die on Veteran's Day!

Gunny is awesome though. I love the guy. Go shoot a watermelon pal, you'll be fine.

Arafat did the only thing he could do to honor veterans. He assumed room temperature.

Can't believe the nerve of some people.

On a related note, CBS DID apologize for intrupting CSI to break the news of Arafats demise. Apparently there some people quite upset about that.

I love gunny, but I disagree with him - our country needs to be more informed about global news and politics.
