I don't see the "sorry" site as producing anything positive. If you think I am wrong, then please enlighten me.
Hmmm...goofy website or a $40 million orchestrated campaign to remove a President? You be the judge.

You're right. It has to stop. I haven't noticed any less of a distain for liberals from the Right though. It's palpable. I think over the past 4 years the Left has just matched the Right's hatred and in general you have two camps that really don't want to work together in this country and that's bad.

Does anybody else have a hard time believing that this guy was as active as he claims? The half-closed eyes and drooping cigarette don't really exude energetic activism . . .

Correction...

Goofy website, PLUS Michael Moore and his multimillion dollar propaganda film, PLUS moveon.org, PLUS democraticunderground.com, PLUS George Soros, PLUS a host of others.

But, I guess you really aren't willing to see the volume of hate coming from your own side. That is truly sad.

Well, I can only speak on a personal level, but I can 100% guarantee that my response to a Kerry win (even though I voted for Bush) would have been more curious than furious. Obviously not true for everyone though. I'm sure there would have been some conservative nutjobs going crazy.

My only hope is that this is a fringe thing and not widespread on the left as VinVega's post seems to indicate. If that's really what you mean, then please don't include me in your account of "the right" because that's not my opinion AT ALL.

Thanks.

I never meant to imply that the right has suddenly stopped. Only that things have gotten worse, on both sides. And I fully agree, if we ever hope to achieve anything positive, both sides have to knock it off.

Oh, and BTW, love the smilie! But you really need to combine it with the hippie flower child smilie for full effect.

Not trying to lump you in with haters Thor, but I know you a little better at least from your posting style. However, please listen to any conservative talk radio and you'll see (well actually hear) what I'm talking about. Maybe it's just pre-election crap, but I have my doubts.

I would've loved to have been at the Town Hall meeting where they selected Grimlocke as the official spokesperson for Gloucester, MA!

Exactly. I get my news from CNN and try to forumlate my opinions on my own. I've never been a fan of Rush, etc... the bias is blind of so many things.

When I do listen to talk radio (not very often), it tends to be from a liberal voice as I prefer having my views challenged (I tend to hold conservative views on most issues) and it makes me think about why I actually believe what I do as oposed to being told what to believe and settling on that. Yes, I often find myself thinking that the person talking is a bit of an asshat, but it at least lets me explore ideas outside of some conservative bubble. Both sides have very valid points on most issues, but completely discount the other. I find that a lot of the issues I disagree with the left on are due to a big gap in our moral values. But that's not true on many issues such as taxes, health care, the war in Iraq, etc. and there is often more than one solution to a given problem. Most politicians aren't out there to deliberately cause problems, so if you try to see things from their perspective, you can learn some things about your own.

Grimlocke reminds me of Amy Poehler's Avril Lavigne.

Totally agree. I watch probably watch FoxNews as much now as I do CNN and probably more than MSNBC.

Agree 100%.

But I still found the site damn_funny.

You must at least give folks a free pass for a short time as they "grieve".

I meant the website obviously, but thanks for all the supportive emails about my penis... I especially liked the poems you wrote. The flowers were a bit much though, my girlfriend is starting to suspect I'm having an affair.
