I voted and had a sticker for Bush at my desk nothing in my yard of car. I am glad it is over. I work for a place that is very anti-Bush.

Very thankful it's over. Very fearful that the next election cycle will start even earlier. *shudder*

6 votes so far and only 1 for "campaigned"/talked about it online in a poll in the DVDtalk ELECTION forum Guess I'm crazier than I thought since I could have sworn I've been talking to other people all along

Thankful its over but getting ready for 4 more years of pure hell.

That about covers it.

The best thing about this election is that it will be GWB's last...thank god.

I just voted and I'm really glad it's over...although I have no doubt that we'll continue to hear how we're living in the evil Cowboy Chimpís imperialistic regime

I'm glad it's over on the account I don't have to do anymore election monitoring and get angry phone calls from irate voters. It's not my fault people don't know how to vote.

Wait...when you say "voted," do you mean this poll or the election? I got confused and demand a recount.

Oh yeah? Cheney 2008!

I'm very happy it's over. No more (political) junk mail! No more (political) junk messages left on my answering machine. And no more (political) rhetoric on this forum. Oh, who am I kidding. But 2 out of 3 ain't bad.

Pretty happy with outcome, but much happier it is over. Yesterday, I felt profoundly exhausted by it, not only from staying up too late, but being stressed out by it

The forum has been rather peaceful for the past few weeks.

That peace has or will be shattered now that it's over.

The really angry rhetoric will soon begin.

I never get stressed by elections. With age comes the acceptance of the realty that very very little will change, regardless of who is elected.

I guess I should get more stressed and concerned since my children and grandchildren will have to live with that fact that nothing has changed; because, there are some things that need to change - we need to have a comprehensive energy bill, for instance.

No more campaign ads.

Now I can go back to being annoyed by local car dealerships' commercials.

Where's the "Bet on the Outcome" option?

Yes - very happy it is over particularly since it was much ado about nothing (little if no difference either way).

I'm pretty happy it's over. I thought Bush was the better candidate, so I voted for him, but I didn't feel like electing Kerry would be devastating or anything. In the end, it's not that big a difference, and it still makes me laugh when I hear anyone on either side talk about it being the most important event of our lives. So I hoped Bush would win, but I wasn't overly stressed out about it, just more annoyed with all the rhetoric and such.

I'm hoping we're going to move forward now, but I'm noticing an increasing amount of doom-and-gloom silliness and angry bitterness since yesterday, and I fear it's not going to get too much better. Hopefully, I'm wrong.

See what they did there ... they changed "years" to "wars"

Oh man ... can't breathe ... too funny!

Do they have one that says "4 More Years of Bitterness". I bet it would sell like hotcakes.
