George Soros: Obviously I'm distressed

http://www.georgesoros.com/

Obviously, I am distressed at the outcome of the election. I hope, but don't trust, that the second Bush administration will have learned something from the mistakes of the first. What is at stake is our ability to recognize our own fallibility.

I established GeorgeSoros.com in order to engage in a critical discussion with readers about President Bush's policies, particularly in Iraq. To all those who sent in messages, thank you. I found the dialogue to be thought provoking, and I hope visitors to the site did as well. Georgesoros.com proved more popular than I initially imagined. There have been more than a million and a half visitors to the site and more than 30,000 people sent in messages.

Having established the site in the run up to the election, I frankly did not pause to consider what to do with it afterwards. Given the outcome, I now feel strongly that it should continue. Exactly what shape the future content will take, and how actively I will pursue the weblog, will take some time to figure out. In the meantime, I am traveling to Europe to attend to the business of my foundation - but I'll be back.

Please check back in a few weeks for updates. Thank you.

This is from Michael Moore's site. It is a collage made up of the soldiers who have died in Iraq. Pretty neat pic, but obviously I think it is a shitty thing to do....but that's MM.

I have no doubt that self-righteous fuck is busy drowning his sorrows at Krispy Kreme right now.

Because Bush used fear to win the election and the terrorists are not a threat?

It cheapens the memories of the fallen soldiers to score a political point. It is rather revealing of Moore- he sees these soldiers as just building blocks for him to bash the President.

Is he posting that from the monastery that he said he was moving into if Bush won again?
Politically exploiting soldiers who died fighting for the country and who were doing their duty, typical of the Hate-America-First documentarian.

Where's his picture of Bid Laden or Saddam with people that died because of decisions they made? Or how about Clinton with his Somalia victims? Definately would be a much clearer picture with all those photos..

Dead soldiers - just another piece in the puzzle for Michael Moore's hatred of Bush..something that existed long before Iraq..just a convenient excuse.

I wonder how families who support Bush feel about using their loved one as a cheap shot by Michael Moore.

I have nothing but respect and deep appreciation for the men and women of the armed forces who put their lives on the line every day for this country. However, cheap shot or not, that picture is only going to become less blurry in the coming years.

Eh, how about a collage of all the terrorists who have been killed. It'll look like the picture was taken with a 20 megapixel camera.

If I died in a war, the last place I'd want my likeness featured is on a political poster. Especially since a great majority of the soldiers in that poster likely were against Moore's political views.

Yes.....but that doesn't mean it's appropriate for a political/campaign poster.

But do you see how it is tasteless?

Imagine using the victims of 9/11 to make a picture of Clinton because he saw the threat with the '93 bombing of the towers and didn't do enough to prevent it? How would that be different? This is just tasteless.

Imagine the picture of WWII vets used to make Truman. Or better yet, thousands of Japanese from Hiroshima to make a picture of Truman.

I believe this isn't so much a statement from Moore as an intentional slap in the face of everyone who dared to defy him and vote for Bush.

George Soros claimed that he would seek refuge in a Monastery should Bush win. I think we need to demand that he follow through with his promise.

More proof of Bush's clone army: Last row on the right, seven down from the top, and in the same row eleven up from the bottom.

EDIT: Fifth row from the right, ten down.

Soros Loser and Michael "One donut from a heart attack" Moore are just disgraces. Two large reasons I voted for Bush, and their actions since the elections results only confirm why I dislike them so.
