Man, I never knew an election could be so FUN.

If it is, let him know that I'm standing in Copley Square. It's cold. I'm tired. It's raining. And Bon Jovi and Sheryl Crow have gone away.

Where Are You?!?

Huh, you can't even read the forums now, unless you are a member. I guess they don't want us to see their hissy fits and abject sobbing.
Fixed.

Four more years of terrorist ass kicking, economic prosperity, and the screaming fits by Michael Moore, Dan Rather, and neo-commies...

God Bless America!

I agree with nazgul and most of the posters in this thread.

I voted for John Kerry, and it certainly appears that he's lost. Does it make me sad my guy didn't win? Sure, but I sure as hell don't believe what the original poster said in the least.

I do hope however, with how close this ran at one point that the president considers acknowledging mistakes that he's made and changing what's necessary to finish what we've started in Iraq.

So, here is my concession speech:

I'd like a small popcorn (layered butter please)
I'd also like a "frozen coke"
and finally...I'd like a pretzel, no salt.

Thanks.

Congratulations those of you who voted for Bush. Please don't be overly brutal to those of us who voted for Kerry...or rather, for those of us who voted for Kerry who aren't going to be cry babies. Granted, that may be few and far between.

I certainly understand his bitterness, even if I know better than to give it full reign here, or to say I'm ashamed of America.

I'm only ashamed of Evangelical Nazi America, not Hippie America.

What about us atheist, gay-rights-supporting, pro-abortion Nazis who voted for Bush?

Yeah really ..

If you voted for Bush, and he lost - or if you voted for Kerry, and it appears that he has lost, as an American, you do NOT wish harm on the Country, you pray for both sides, and hope that either guy, whoever it is, even if you disagree with that guy, will keep us all safe, and protect our freedoms.

You kiddo needs serious help.

I think it's safe to say that athiest social progressives did not, as a rule, help Bush win the election. He won because he got out the Evangelicals, and because most people believe the "War On Terror" is more than empty rhetoric. They want to stay the course, despite the quagmire that Iraq appears to be turning into. And they didn't trust the alternative.
