Looks like Bush wins

Fox is tentatively calling Ohio for Bush. It's a lock unless my home state (Alaska) goes to Kerry. And we all know that won't happen

Not necessarily. It's gonna be damn_close.

Two things making it closer than it looks:

1) Cincinnati is for Bush and is all in, but Cleveland (Cuyahoga County) and Franklin (Columbus) are moderately and weakly for Kerry and still have votes out.

2) Absentee ballots, estimated to be Kerry's, are completely out.

You completely avoid the fact that Claremont County, heavily Bush is at about 60% in.

NBC is now saying that Bush wins.

Best case for Kerry is a 269/269 tie (unlikely). And, even then, it goes to the House and Bush wins.

I did the math an hour ago, and then it would have taken a miracle for Kerry to catch Bush in Ohio. With more votes in, it's even less likely.

It will take a miracle for Kerry to catch Bush in Ohio.
Are you talking multiple resurrections or some other kind of miracle?

The math favors Bush - increasingly - but it's still gonna be very close.

Are you talking about Cleveland or Cuyoga? Because Cuyoga has about 17,000 votes out if that number is 600,000. Either way, doesn't matter at this point.

I beleive over 95% of Cuy is in. If you look at Ohio's still reporting districts, they are almost exclusively Republican districts.

Yes. And it looks like Chris Matthews will have to stay an MSNBC hack instead of getting a good gig with the new administration.

Too bad he's completely discredited himself.

That's because there are about 200,000 provisional ballots in Ohio and the Kerry bunch are counting on getting most of those.

Won't happen. He's going to have to get over ... what? ... 60% of those from what is left of republican districts.
