Bush already declared the winner...WTF?

I just heard news 680 in Orange County(Republican central) declare that, "That's it. It looks like now that Bush has secured Florida, and that he has California pretty much locked up, this thing looks over". I'm thinking WTF... it looks so close, how can someone say that. They went on to say.."Well even though the Democrats picked up a seat in the Senate in Illinois, it looks like they will retain the majority in the House and Senate".

You have got to be kidding me, I sure as hell hope this is just "Republican babble".

A Kerry/Edwards presidency with a majority in the House and Senate would be amazing for our nation!

Jason 11-02-04 08:28 PM

Yahoo is showing Bush with 66 electoral votes, Kerry with 77. Whoever you were listening to has his head up his ass.

Dalvin 11-02-04 08:30 PM

Oh Great

SHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bush got North Carolina..... 15 electoral votes. Dammit.

Bush-81

Kerry-77

Say what?

You know, I voted Bush but I have no doubt in my mind that Kerry will take California.

Jackskeleton 11-02-04 08:37 PM

That's what I thought. I thought California was surely going to be a Kerry win. I think Florida is a Key. If Kerry can get Florida, that will be a huge relief for the Democrats.

Why is it that every election, Alabama votes for the Republican guy? Every single flippin time. Heck ,Mussolini could be on the Reoubublican ticket, and they'd vote Republican.

Jackskeleton 11-02-04 08:42 PM

Dalvin... California is still in dark because no results can come out while polls are open.

No one knows yet.

Yup.

Dalvin, call that radio head and tell him this Bush voter tells him to pull his head out of his ass. Then turn off the radio.

if bush took california, that would be the biggest upset in the election. isn't california HEAVILY democratic?

leepyswetr 11-02-04 09:07 PM

From this thread, it sounds like Mars is going to go for Kerry.

Bush was declared the winner before this thing ever started. John Kerry was a terrible opponent and the Democrats never came up with anything I could call a platform.

My opinion, but I never saw any life in the Democrats this year. I guess they were counting on Moore's film instead of real issues to get them over the top.

BizRodian 11-02-04 09:50 PM

Wow, the fact Dalvin posted a thread saying Bush is the winner is the best sign that Kerry is going to win!

So that's what Kerry and Edwards look like without makeup!

Jackskeleton 11-02-04 11:02 PM

California goes to Kerry. looks like mr. radio man was wrong

DarkestPhoenix 11-02-04 11:27 PM

If I was a chick I'd give my bush to Bush.

That's not worth many electorals, though.

Where the hell's my tin foil?

Shit.

And the skulls and bones are gonna win, too.
