Anybody see Bush and family on NBC today?

Posters on another forum report he gave a mini press conference, said he gave it his all.

Posters said he looked glum, like handlers had told him he was going to lose. And that Laura and the daughters were even worse.

Spin spin spin. Partisan politics are like ghosts in the Sixth Sense...they see what they want to see.

How would his handlers know he was going to loose in the first place? Give it up man.

Perhaps the campaigns conduct far more complete and accurate polling than the news channels.

He may have just been tired.

I would really like to know what the campaign's final internal polls showed.

I didn't see Mrs. Bush or the daughters. It was just Bush on Air Force 1.

I also didn't say he looked glum. I said he looked a little 'down.'

I also said it might very well be because he was tired - 6 states in one day, I believe.

Weargle is correct.

He looked much much different after voting. He'd probably taken a shower and changed clothing.

I haven't seen it, but the radio is playing it down. One report said Bush "didn't have joy in his eyes."

No comment on the joy in Kerry's eyes.

Well, how would you feel if you were about to lose a popularity contest to John Kerry?

And of course, that situation could work in reverse, too. This election season is pathetic. I can't believe these are our two choices.
