Ok, I'll be the first do admit that I'm not to kick off the thread. While I find the whole process extremely interesting to watch unfold, I am disenfranchised by the whole process. *Puts flame suit on*

When I leave to go home - shortly - if the line is anything like it was this morning, nope. Of course, btwn my no-vote for Prez and lack of races in Arlington/VA, there is little to vote for.

If that's the way you feel, then I think you have every right to state your political position by not voting.

If there are state or local issues that should be considered, then I would encourage you to at least look at those if you haven't. I can certainly see how you could come to the conclusion that those votes would be worthless to though.

I might not vote if theres something better to do, like play video games and the line at the polling place is long. I probably wont get around to it til after 6 pacific time so it will already be decided.

I tired to become a citizen in time, but couldn't.

Doesn't mean that I can't get others to vote. I have several friends and family members voting for Kerry.

Well, I have my absentee ballot half filled out. I get phone messages from Arnold every other day. I wish he'd stop calling me. I guess I'll run it down to the Civic Center later then come back and watch some NBA basketball.

I definitely want to vote, but I don't know if I'll have time to. I've been at work since 9, then had class, now I'm back at work until my 5:30-7:30 night class. I think my polling place is open until 7, so maybe I can get out of class early.

Ok. Poor choise of words. I've been jaded by all the bullshit that goes on during an election. Every party is guilty of it, and it frankly makes me not want to support anyone.

Honestly, there's not much locally that I am for or against this year. I'd like to vote some judges down, but that doesn't do any good, because people are so blind to what they do, and uninformed, that they just vote yes.

That's OK. I believe 90% of the time that word is used incorrectly.

You wouldn't be saying that if you hadn't been convicted of a felony
