So how's the weather?

Since a Kerry victory is all about turnout, I'm curious about the weather in the battleground states and how you guys think it might effect turnout.

I'll start off. I heard on NPR that rain was expected in parts of Ohio...I just don't know which parts.

Kerry's fate does rest with the turnout - the right (not meaning conservative ) turnout.

Beautiful day in San Antonio, that is for sure! (even though it is irrelevant to your point)

Irrelevant to your point as well, but suburban Chicago is cool and overcast. The rain stopped about an hour ago.

That's shocking. It's practically an ice age in Austin. (Well, for Austin, 56 (feels like 53), breezy, overcast with drizzle, is practically the THEEKing dead of winter).

It's been cold, but sunny. I went out running at 4am this morning and it was 29 degrees.

That's the way it is here - only in the 40s, and it's more than just breezy.

I haven't seen any of the promised rain here in Western PA. Beautiful day so far.

I disagree. I think that the greater the total quantity, the better for Kerry. Republicans are much more reliable voters IMO.

It's the new voters, the young voters, minority voters, and the relatively uninvolved that Kerry needs to show up...all generally lean away from an incumbent.

Incumbents of an party love non-event elections.

Chance of long poll wait, 100%.

No drizzle here, plenty of sun, and about 5 degrees warmer. I walked out of the gym this morning a little after 8:30, and realized what a nice day it is.
