Kind of a fun (maybe you don't think so though ) counterpoint poll for kvrdave's ABB poll.

I actually like Bush, but more and more I find that I am voting for him just to hopefully listen to the complaining. My one reason for hoping that Kerry wins is so that I can be the big whiney bitch again.

Voting for Bush because I like him. Pissing off the libs for another four years is just a great fringe benefit.

Security and taxes. Pissing off liberals is just a side benefit
Now, if we could just teach George about "small government."

Voting for Bush because I think he's the best candidate in this election *shudder*.

Wearing a shirt on election day that says "I Voted for Bush. Liberals Can SUCK IT!" just to piss off liberals.

I'm sure that if I cast a vote for Bush simply because I have a bet on him will piss off some people - probably mostly liberals.

I'd like to have that shirt. Although I'd add 'Liberals and Europeans can SUCK IT!'

Hey, I was just trying to lighten a rather insulting remark you made, rather than take it personally. Sorry you can't do the same.

how was mine insulting? The fact that either side would like to cause grief to someone else (their fellow man) is sickening. What ever happened to people caring for their brother or their neighbor? Can't people vote (or do) things because they help others? Most of the repubs are christians and yet they seem to ignore "love thy neighbor" and "do unto others..." and only seem to care about the bible for slamming gay rights or abortion. That is not meant to be insulting!

It was insulting because you imply that those of us who are voting for Bush accept the assertion that we are "dropping the anchor through the boat's hull."

My belief is that Kerry is the one who would sink this nation.

No, I meant allowing a screwed up situation just to see others suffer (for those voting simply to piss off liberals).

OK, I understand what you meant, and I apologize. However, I would ask you to be a little more careful which post you quote next time. The one you quoted with your boat hull comment was one who said they very voting for Bush because they like him. I misread your followup as being in response to that.

yeah, that's why I quoted Nazgal's quote (since it was the one I was referring to). Anyway, it's all good.

me? again some stuff is funny, some is tired and some is weak. I don't think there's anything funny about selfishness and aversion to empathy. Maybe I'm the only one....

I try my best (to be funny, that is). Sometimes I get a good one (like the mod fight ), and sometimes I miss the mark . But I still keep trying!
