let's assume Cheney was President and Bush was VP, hate to even think about it, I'm ABB but damn Cheney is IMO a meathead of the worst sorts

I think the foreign policy would be the same, but the domestic policy slighty different from the present. Overall, though, I'm voting 'about the same.'

Cheney is already the president as far as I'm concerned. He has more to do with setting policy than Bush. Bush is the befuddled nice guy figurehead they put out front to disguise the callous ruthlessness of Cheney.

I've had this conversation with several from Missouri. Had we realized he would end up with much more power, we may have made a different call. Out of the pot on to the burner.
