Might as well get it started :).

Kerry sucked so bad it wasn't even funny. I can't believe he brought up Iraq again on a question it wasn't the topic of, though I did enjoy the questions about the economy. It's obvious they see it from completely different perspectives.

Too bad he doesn't know how he's going to pay for those programs he was talking about. I think Bush did a good job of showing that he's not overly optimistic of current conditions and has a solid plan for the coming 4 years.

Way to go Bush! He clearly won this one. Now let's all look at the CNN polls that are flooded by DU voters.

Did anyone notice Bush rocking in his chair when Kerry was talking about health care?

When are these online places going to figure out these polls are a fucking waste?

wmansir 10-08-04 07:18 PM

Does anyone else have a local debate show on at 8? We have one debating the Paleski Initiative, which would place a state wide limit on property tax at 1%. Maine is the second highest taxed state in the union (after NY) and it's about time we brought that under control. Of course the teacher's union is against it, saying it will kill kids or something.

There are state constitutional issues also. It's a question of whether state gov can limit local/county tax laws.

When people stop talking about them, posting links and driving traffic to their sites.

I predict that no matter what Bush says (how long it takes him to say it) or doesn't say, the Republicans and conservatives here will praise Bush as being more personable and, I guess, thus more qualified to be the President because he's just like one of us.

DarkElf 10-08-04 07:59 PM

Whoa, man, I'm actually home from work in time to watch one of these debates. Can't wait!

sfsdfd 10-08-04 07:59 PM

Sadly, I'm not home. Anyone know of an Internet feed? Video awesome; radio OK.

Then they'll run to vote in all those polls

KERRY being called personable? You republicans have no shame. Even democrats think he's got a horse face and talks like he's trying to put you to sleep.

nevermind 10-08-04 08:05 PM

Great 1st question. You're too wishy-washy. What do you have to say about THAT? I hope they come up with something more specific than that.
