Kerry said he'd give that lady a tax cut. What if she makes $250K a year?

Waiting for Bush to say, "Being President is hard work."

Pharoh 10-08-04 08:07 PM

I really hope that the questions get much much better than this.

Usually pretty late hours, but it's fun. Probably the most interesting job I've had.

Glad to hear you are enjoying it.

Somehwhat on topic, I bet you have to just love both of these guys, huh?

DarkElf 10-08-04 08:09 PM

I got to see the tail end of the first debate. Bush is coming out with much more enthusiasm tonight. Speaking with authority! Confident! Guns a blazin'!

So are some of the poorest people I've met.

Hmm. What a waste of bandwidth that was. I should try harder to come up with something witty.

Pharoh 10-08-04 08:11 PM

Wasn't the question specifically about Iraq? Didn't the President answer the question as specifically as one can in these events? And Mr. Kerry chastises him for answering it?

logrus9 10-08-04 08:12 PM

Kerry seems to be doing what the lefties accuse Bush of, just repeating the same things over and over.

mikehunt 10-08-04 08:12 PM

WTF does osama have to do with iran or nk wrt their nukes?
and maybe bush knows something about osama we don't, like he's a pile of ashes

nevermind 10-08-04 08:12 PM

Well Bush seems to be a little more prepared tonight.

This is the first question, right?

Is there anything else besides Iraq to talk about? Who are the stupid people asking the questions? And we start off with a question about wishy-washy.

Are these people CRAZY? FUCK! Enough of this crap.

lordzeppelin 10-08-04 08:13 PM

I'm so sick of Bush and his minions repeating this "global test" bullshit. way to take something out of context and run with it, fucking neocons...

Ranger 10-08-04 08:13 PM

Ah, I'm not sure about this "debate" format. It just looks like a combination of both men's past political rallies where they drone their usual lines. It helps both candiates which cancels out the importance of the debate, because they both can preach to their own choirs.

The Cheney-Edwards sit-down format seemed like the best format to go with.

Guess the committee decided to mix and match.

deadlax 10-08-04 08:14 PM

Aren't these questions AND questioners pre-screened? Anthony's question needed a fucking gong.

I disagree - he's simply regurgitating the same crap he's been spewing for months... alot of it isn't relevant anymore either.

None of his political advisors are neocons. Care to make a relevant point?
