No End in Sight

No End in Sight is a great documentary about the Iraq War. The director interviews credible people: officials in the Bush administration, soldiers and staff working in Iraq during and after the invasion, and others with first-hand knowledge of the events. The interviewees reveal that the Bush administration had preconceived notions about Iraq that turned out to be completely wrong. As a result, Bush and company acted in a manner that was grossly negligent, first deciding to invade Iraq based on false grounds, then utterly failing to prepare for the period after the invasion, and finally making a series of blunders leading to the rise of an insurgency.

I streamed the documentary a couple times in the past, and I recently picked up two copies on DVD. It's available for cheap at Amazon.
