It is unfortunate and telling that the media has settled on the easy path of framing this as a pissing contest between Kanye West and Pete Davidson, when West's behavior is actually about his own paranoia and his unwillingness to respect Kim K's agency. I feel quite certain that if these were not people of considerable fame and fortune, it would be a situation where the husband was harassing his estranged wife and threatening her and their children with violence. The protection Kim has due to her status makes it possible to find Kanye's behavior amusing, but really we should be concerned.

Somebody needs to pray for Kanye and I'm being serious. He needs some help. This is the point in one's life where all the social status and financial security only carries you so far. He seems like an empty person.

Dooku, yes, I have never watched any of the shows that Kim K was on, nor cared too much about following all the ins and outs of her life, but if she and her ex-husband were not famous than lord only knows what Kim would be dealing with now and it would all be out of sight of the media.

I get that Kanye has some mental health issues and needs help, but he also needs folks around him to put the brakes on some of the more outlandish things he tends to say on twitter and places like that. AV Club notes that he also is angry at Billie Ellish and Coachella, and it stems from the fact that he thought she was dissing his friend Travis Scott (he of the kept playing his music while at least 8 people were grievously harmed or killed at his concert, so eff Travis Scott where the sun does not shine).

He needs help, but fortunately, the targets of his ire can hire top shelf security. Kim K and Billie E are not exactly hurting for money to keep a roof over their heads and put food on the table, and since a famous person is creating a situation where some folks might go after them it is good that both ladies will have a security detail around them when they are out and about.

Kanye sees Pete as his enemy. He sees Kid Cudi as his enemy because Cudi is friends with Pete. He sees Billie Eilish as his enemy because she dissed his friend.

And then more disturbing is that he sees Pete, Cudi, and Billie, as teamed up against him. It's both paranoia and delusions of grandeur at the same time. He's Batman, and the Joker, Penguin, and Catwoman are teaming up against him.

Toss in his problematic history with successful women.

Soooo sick of hearing about Kanye's antics and that whole frigging Kardashian family, they can all go fall off a cliff as far as I'm concerned. The general public's continuing fascination with these fame whores and drama queens is something I just don't get.

Ho-lee fuck, YESSS! Please, please make them go away. They are nothing, and yet we have to hear about them all the time. The rapper? OK, I'm not into his stuff, but at least he does something, and one can explain why he might be known by those who like whatever it is he does. But those Kartrashcan people are just hangers-on of no value. They exemplify the worst of vacuous modern culture and the regrettable zeitgeist that sees such empty creatures elevated to icon status.
