Guy taste tests decades old food for Youtube channel

The food he tastes tests in this video probably would have been gross even when new and fresh, but he tests out many different varieties of canned and packaged food products that were manufactured decades ago. Most of the ones he tries are from the 50's and 60's, but this one goes back about 70 years. I'm not sure how he finds so many food products that were packaged years ago, but he has a good number of videos on it. Sometimes he doesn't taste test some of the food products, but just opens them up to see how well they were preserved undisturbed for so many years.

MSG in the can. Should last 1000 years.

The most interesting thing is how the can and its label were so well-preserved after 70 years! And, I'd like to know how he got the can, where it had been all of these years. And, right, MSG...

I had a discussion about "peanut butter lasts forever". My nephew agreed, my sis-in-law went "ewwwww".

"Forever" meaning "a heck of a lot longer than the expiry date".

Rancid oil tastes great! Yuck, old peanut butter tastes awful for that reason. Most canned foods will last 20+ years if stored in a cool, dry and dark place. The food will still be edible, won't harm you, BUT, it might not taste the greatest.
