Tinypic (image hosting service) = RIP

Apparently they not getting enough ad revenue to maintain their service. Tinypic has been online providing image uploading service since April 2004

Everyone I know uses adblockers for every site. So it's no wonder sites relying solely on ads are dying out. Gotta find other ways to fund sites besides giving your viewers malware.

If you're looking for a replacement, check out Imgur. It's free and very easy to use.

I've been using them for 5 years and haven't had any problems. I don't even see any ads on Imgur. I go directly to my User page, upload a pic and grab the forum link. I don't think there are any ads on those pages.

I wish you luck, that site is flagged at home by Malwarebytes and is blocked by my work laptop and flagged as suspicious/scam

That's strange. I use Malwarebytes Premium, and it's never had a problem with Imgur.

Tinypic used to be my go-to. Guess I have to find something else via suggestions here.

Tinypic was my go-to. I always wondered how they made any ad revenue since most of the "ads" you watched briefly to type something in weren't actual ads. When it crashed, someone here kindly pointed out the little image button for posting images without hosting. I don't really post pics anywhere else, so I'm good.

There's likely a lot of threads on this site that are now missing their original images. Tinypic was always my go-to.

Imgur tends to go down many times when they are doing maintenance so I would look for Tinypic.
