Hypocrisy at its finest.

It’d by like Perrelli telling everyone that objectifying women isn’t cool anymore.

Here we go. I was wondering when the commercial was going to be posted here.

And you can have both. Just because the women are dressed sexy doesn't mean you get to be an asshole to them. Kinda like what the first ad says.

Oh and

Re: Poll: Which one of these two Gillette ads do you like better?

It's very simple. Don't like it, don't buy their products.

FYI, I voted without looking at either ad. That's how predictable this is.

Paying women so you can emblazon your brand on their ass (and only hot women) is the asshole move right out of the gate.

The new ad is like Larry Flint telling you to not masterbate. Gillette is the guiltiest party in the room. Fucking Madison Avenue objectifying women and exploiting insecurity to sell products for 100 years.

It's Saturday night and I'm sitting at home watching tall young women in very short skirts playing tennis...

Ask me again tomorrow.

I saw this a few days ago. Tossing all my Gillette products in the trash, by the way. Going with Harry's razors. I like the rubber grips. And Harry, at least not yet, hasn't accused me of being a Toxic Male.

Somehow I keep ending up with free samples of Harry’s razors. I like them. They give a clean shave and they’re smooth, don’t cause razor burn. Of course they’re sitting right next to a can of Gillette shaving cream.

If Gillette wants to save a little money buying their Super Bowl ad space I can think of a good commercial that gets the same point across and it’s only about a second long. It’ll go something like this, “He guys, don’t be assholes.” The end.

I like the Nivea shaving cream. I buy it from Target when it's in the packs.

And yet, all those women gladly dressed in those outfits for a paycheck. The entire world does not have to be P.C.
Boys will always fight. Men will look at attractive women. Women will look at attractive men. A commercial will not change nature.

I didn’t think a single ad could turn tough guys into such wimps.

What do you know about DVDP that I don’t that would make you think he’s anything less than serious?

Nothing. That was just my subtle way of ridiculing what he said.

I wonder if the men offended by the ad are so because they know they're guilty of some of the stuff shown in the ad. Otherwise, why be offended?

Do they also get offended when they see ads telling them not to drink and drive? "I'm a driver... why are they trying to shame me! I never drink and drive!"

Here's a tip... if you're not guilty of anything mentioned in the ad, then it's not about you - you can just ignore it and carry on with your life.

Which do I prefer? No opinion.

I've worked in a place where the manager choose see-thru shirts for the uniform worn by both men and women. He was the kind of guy who made eye-contact with breasts.

I also like looking at women in sexy outfits. What's the difference between him and me? I like it when the women choose for themselves when they present themselves in a sexual manner. It's a gift to me, not something I take from them.

Finally watched the ad, and can’t imagine how someone can be offended. They clearly aren’t saying all men are toxic, and how could anyone be bothered by them trying to address a serious problem in our culture.

I can't imagine how you cannot be offended. But then again, maybe you haven't had enough experiences in your life to know you're being insulted.

Gillette is using examples and taking them to an extreme, just to prove a point that our society is already dealing with. Not only are they several years LATE to the issue, their commercial is attacking men who grill food as some type of stereotype of badness is laughable. And somehow it's "wrong" if two boys fight each other. I mean really, this just nonsense. I've never seen parents at any bbq or event just letting kids pummel each other. Wrestle each other, yes. A small conflict, yes, but they quickly break it up asap. I've broken up two kids fighting at gatherings as well. Gillette is portraying men as some type of Gladiator Male Alpha, where we all run around beating our chests. Sure, there are exceptions, but for the most part, men act appropriately.

And suppose Gillette really wants to focus their efforts on the "male issue". Why aren't they attacking Hollywood? Attacking males is just the symptom. Hollywood and its glamorization of male aggression is rather rampant.

So again, why isn't Gillette attacking Hollywood. They only briefly use clips, instead of actually pointing to HOLLYWOOD and even actors as they are enabling the problem as well.

Overall, a really shithole of a failed message that most of us men are already aware of. But I guess maybe Gillette thinks Millennials need an extra refresher course when they shave in the morning.
