parrotheads4, I wanted to drop in for a quick moment to say you're the one who is right and it is only through your love and grace for your wife that you will save your marriage from this upside-down atrocity. #livestrong

Peanut butter and pickle sandwiches rock!

Preserves for me. It's a little thicker and spreads fine. The kids like the jelly though.

Standing in the kitchen, at 3AM, in your underwear, staring at microwave clock.

Also the proper way to eat ice cream out of the carton or an entire package of Oreos.

I never realized just how controversial this issue is. I haven't had a PB&J in quite awhile, so I will have to consider this before I decide how it is best eaten. Maybe I'll do some research, and consult an expert or two. Where would I find a PB&J expert?

This.

Or perhaps try eating grown up food instead?

The proper way to eat it is to throw it in the trashcan.

Great! Likes PB&J with no bread whatsoever. Just spreads it on his hands.

I don't think the sandwiches described here are appetizing to me at all. I'm outs!

To add another twist, most of the time, I'll toast my bread.

Sideways. Carefully lick out the pb&j and peel back the bread on either side until the sweet filling is gone, then toss the bread in the trash.

Re: The proper way to eat a peanut and jelly sandwich

There's a restaurant around here that has a burger with peanut butter (& lettuce, tomato and onion) on it. It's delicious.

Re: The proper way to eat a peanut and jelly sandwich

You're all heathens. The proper way to eat PB&J is to take the Uncrustable out of the freezer, let it thaw for 15-20 min and wolf that shit down in any direction your hands grab it.
