Hmmmm. ^I tried posting a certain channel multiple times--Even without hotlinking his name--and it wasn't allowed. Guess he's on DVDtalk's banned list!

Re: Favorite YouTube Vloggers/Channels?

Coolduder- Vlogs, DVD/Blu-ray shopping and reviews.

Wetmovie1- a lot like Coolduder. Vlogs, DVD/Blu-ray shopping and reviews. Also some more just random non-movie stuff.

Cinemassacre- Angry Video Game Nerd, James and Mike Mondayís (letís play series), movie reviews, etc.

Pat the NES Punk- retro game type series which shares the name of the channel. Similar to the Angry Video Game Nerd but different. Also has a podcast called the Completely Unnecessary Podcast or CU Podcast for short.

The Review Spot- action figure reviews, unboxings, etc.

Screen Junkies- movie news, Movie Fights, Honest Trailers, etc.

Channel Awesome- Nostalgia Critic, various other movie reviews and countdowns.

Cody Leach- movie reviews but more of a focus on horror. Also does DVD/Blu-ray reviews once in a while as well as some video games.

Comic Book Cast- news channel that focuses on comic book news (movies, shows, and actual comics) but other geeky type movie news like Star Wars and stuff.

Since the October Horror Challenge is coming up, I recommend checking out Chuck Dowling on Youtube. Every year he does 31 Horror Movies In 31 Days. This year's batch just started a couple days ago.

I don't watch a lot of Youtube, but I do love the occasional Maangchi video. Here she explains how to make the BEST kimchi.

I really miss the movie-talk of old (Bring back the graph on what the daily subjects are) as well as Collider Nightmares. And itís still too bad that Jeremy Jahns left them before participating in an audio commentary. Speaking of which, I still look forward to their commentaries. I was especially tickled that Amy Dallen was brought in for Infinity War.

Oh, don't knock it until you've tried it. Siamese tails are the best (that's what I've heard).

I like his videos. The cats are awesome. Unfortunately, I can't keep up with his cooking skills. He makes it look effortless, but I just make a mess.

I actually prefer their personal channel Rachel and Jun. It covers Japanese culture, travel, food, and cats.

RedLetterMedia - Definitely one of the best movie review channels. They are brutally honest and make no excuses for anybody

CineFix - Their Movie listing its amazing and unlike most movie reviewers out there they cover all decades and all genres. So usually discover forgotten gems

NerdWritter1 - Amazing Video Essays ranging on different subjects

NPR Music - I like the desktop concert series

Patrick (H) Willems - Another great reviewer, he is the one that first brought into light how the Marvel color palette was all washed out

Re: Favorite YouTube Vloggers/Channels?

Just started watching iJustine

I know she's been around awhile, but I never checked out her channel. I like her stuff even though she's mostly into Apple products. But, what's not to like about her? Beautiful blonde, loves talking tech. I've gone back and watched a bunch of her older videos and I like her energy and how super into the stuff she is.

I also enjoy watching another tech channel called Chigz Tech Reviews.

He's a UK based tech reviewer. I've actually purchased a product that he profiled on his channel. He profiles a lot of cool stuff.

For all the foodies, check out SAM THE COOKING GUY

https://www.youtube.com/user/thesamlivecast

He cooks some awesome food. And makes it really easy to follow, with lots of good tips. His recipes aren't too complicated and just use a handful of ingredients. You watch it and immediately want to try it.

Re: Favorite YouTube Vloggers/Channels?

I recently (maybe a few months ago) started following a YouTube travel vlogger named Drew Binsky. He's attempting to travel to every country in the world. So far, he says he's been to 153 countries. His videos are super short. They run anywhere from 1 minute 30 seconds to 3 minutes. Not a lot of substance for most, but I am interested in seeing the stuff and places he goes to. His videos are pretty high quality.

There are so many travel vloggers on YouTube. Some produce better videos than others.

For geeky stuff, I started following a guy named Andre the Black Nerd. He's super geeky and quite over the top, but I do like seeing some of the things he posts. He posted a Black Friday haul video and I couldn't believe all the stuff he bought. I think he said he spend well over $2,500 in one day on BDs, Apple tech, games and toys.

I do woodworking so look up a lot of videos. By now we are besieged with people making other people's designs without giving credit to the designer. They'll post on a forum and if follow the link they're trying to get you to follow their YouTube channel. Most are crap with music overlays.

There's another YouTuber called Lamaar Wilson that has similar content. He and Andre have done several collaborations like this one.

Re: Favorite YouTube Vloggers/Channels?

Iíve been familiar with Red Letter Media for a while due to their Mr. Plinkett Star Wars reviews but never had watched them much beyond that until recently. Might be one of my new favorite movie review channels on YouTube.

I like that they have a few different formats like Half in the Bag which is a pretty basic review but the guys play characters working for a VCR repair company, re:View which is basically their most stripped down review show, and Best of the Worst which has them watching three shitty movies and deciding which one is best. I also like that they donít really pull any punches and can be brutally honest.
