Hazards of having a dog door.

When it's hot outside, your pet may decide to bring his favorite toys inside.

Your cat might invite her friends over.

Re: Hazards of having a dog door.

My first dog (a sweet Chow chow) caught a gopher in the yard and proudly carried it to me in the back room. It was still alive. I'm sure my reaction traumatized my poor dog so that he never brought anything for me ever again.

That second one is why they have collar-controlled pet doors now. The first one, well you're just fucked

Well, I'd rather have a nice, friendly fawn than a slobbering, loud, and obnoxious dog any day. Sweet fawns are underrated, and dogs are a menace to society (and one's neighbors who would like a little peace and quiet). Man, didn't you ever see THE YEARLING?

The garden gnomes might come in and eat all your cinnamon rolls?

Thanks for that unsolicited rant.

Hint, you canít keep deer as pets in most places.

Re: Hazards of having a dog door.

My wife and I came hope from work and our son was playing a video game in his room. On the cord from this game console to the controller was a decently large dead rabbit laying right on it. I asked him what was up with the rabbit and he didn't even know it was there - too focused on his game. Turns out the cat dragged it in through the dog door and brought it to him.
