Which companies would you like to see go out of business?

Which companies you don't care for or hate and would like to see go out of business? As for me:

Nike
Facebook
Instagram
CNN
Google
Experian
Chase Bank
Comcast
Spectrum
Verizon
MGM

I'm sure there are more but these are a few off the top of my head that I don't care for.

So this is the let's root for innocent people to lose their jobs thread because you had some bad dealings with these companies or you think they charge too much. Oh Great idea.

I despise many companies (Bank of America, Comcast, Monsanto, etc.) but I don't wish for any of them to go under, as that would leave many innocent worker drones without jobs. I'd rather they simply reform, or be forced to reform, their business practices.

I'd be OK with the whole Trump Foundation going under.

I'm not sure how many companies I hate enough to see them disappear completely. I like a lot of the companies listed by Sonic and/or actively use their services.

So Wells Fargo wouldn't be an acceptable answer?

I would gladly like to see Ford go under if it meant no more Matthew Mcconaughey Lincoln commercials.

Amazon
Apple
Comcast, Spectrum, all the greedy cable and ISP companies
Sprint
Verizon
Uber and Lyft

Perhaps in the ashes, some genius can build a company based on a more humble, less cavalier, and less avaricious model.

That can be done. But itís more likely done by disrupting those businessesí revenue.

For example, Iíve noticed local hardware stores are opening again. They are starting up Ace and True Value stores again. Thatís not good for the Home Depotís that have been built every five miles around Phoenix.

That's kinda my point. I like being able to shop locally for a hammer if I need one rather than the draconian prospect of being forced to defer to Amazon because nobody within 50 miles carries hammers due to Amazons' closing of those businesses.

I do think Home Depot and Ace Hardware, etc will remain in business if it's any indication judging by how *busy* they always are when I go there...

Well, gee. I was going to say Wal-Mart but now I feel guilty.

Oh, fuck it. Wal-Mart.
