What would you do with new born birds, pooping on your outside stuff?
So I have a column in back porch that is popular for birds nests. I take care of them before eggs layed and all that, but this time the babies must have been born deep in this crevasse above a column. Poop runs down and stuff on outdoor patio furniture I just set up. And it stains and hard to get off.
When there isn’t an actual nest, it’s not like I can take whole thing down careful and move it and not hurt babies. I ain’t hurting the babies, but I don’t know what to do...

Maybe I'm not picturing it correctly, but can you just move the furniture and when the babies outgrow the nest you can clean up the area and move it back? Then maybe find a way to make that an undesirable nesting spot for next season? I don't know the actual science about baby birds but the "folksy wisdom" is messing with them or the nest may make the mother bird abandon them to die.
Even though they are no better than the beasts they are, don't they have the right to live?

Cover the table with something? Like a cheap vinyl table cloth held down with bricks or . . . whatever you have. When the babies move, toss whatever was covering it. Or wash it and put it away for next years birds.

If they're European Starlings or House Sparrows, kill them. They're an invasive species.
Pretty much everything else is protected.

You can't do anything about the baby poop until they grow up and leave.
Maybe you can install bird spikes to prevent it from happening again.

We need pics of the nest.

Wrap some plastic around the pole while the birds are there. Cover the patio furniture over with cheap tarp. when the birds finally leave, install some mess or some other detterant so the birds can't get in there the next time.

Another misplaced comma changes the misfortune of the OP ...
What would I do with baby birds? Leave them alone.
Now, why are you pooping on your outdoor stuff?
