Yep! Buy that shit! It is still awesome! Or you can stream the whole series on their new DC Universe channel.

Pre-ordered Cheech & Chong Vynl from Amazon.

Obviously, I'm weak and I've been brainwashed by the Funko cult.

Re: What is the appeal of Funko Pop

I very, very, very much surprised myself by buying my first Funko Pop characters. I was in a FedEx Office making fancy copies for my kid's science expo project and she saw Rick and Morty under the counter on sale for $6 apiece. She's seen a small handful of the episodes that aren't terribly inappropriate for her age (the standout she loves is with the parasites) and she asked if we could get them. So there they are, in our house. They're cute, and I'm glad the kids like them. But I don't see myself trying to get them all. Right?

Right?

Oh... the Simpsons are available now?! Uh-oh...

I got a Bobs Big Boy figure in 2018 but I try my best to avoid them so I won't become a collector.

^ Every time I think Funko Pop canít scrape the bottom of the barrel (bucket?) anyone with their figures, they prove me wrong.

Re: What is the appeal of Funko Pop

I finally got to go to the funko store in Everett. Got wome plushes for the kids and almost got myself some Dorbz of the Looney Tunes in Whats Opera Doc outfit. I love animation specially the classics so i almost bought them, but i knew if i did that i would eventually end up buying the whole series.

Re: What is the appeal of Funko Pop

I don't have the money or the space to keep buying the Funko Pops so I stopped cold turkey. My last ones were the Princess Bride Pops and I'm thinking of putting it on Kijiji or a yard sale to get rid of my common Pop figures.

It will be interesting to go to Toronto Fan Expo this year and not buy any of the Pops when I'm there.

Re: What is the appeal of Funko Pop

I watched the whole run of Dawson's Creek when it originally aired. If I saw those Funko Pop figures out of the box I would have no idea who are those characters. Who thinks there would be a demand for them?

Re: What is the appeal of Funko Pop

They are not that big and probably take up less space than a McFarlane figure

I actually don’t. I was going to get the Chavo del Ocho and Chapulin Colorado ones but never did. Are they hard to find now?

I picked them both up for my 82 year old mom at a local comic con, and she loved them ( she has no clue what Funko is).
