When was DVDTalk's peak weirdness?

This post in the "not letting students use the restroom, like a fucking monster" thread got me thinking:

I would posit that DVDTalk has always been weird. Especially otter.

So... what was DVDTalk's peak weirdness moment for you?

It was certainly while Adult Talk still existed.

Been weird for a while

You post also reminded me that a long time ago I recall being on the Urban Dictionary and under the definition for OTTER is a reference to DVDTalk. I guess back when this site got more traffic.

This forum peaked when former poster Art was constantly demanding more male-on-male action in straight porn. Those were the good ol' days.

When I first signed up here I think there was an "Ask a Gay dude" question thread, and I think I remember you answered one of my questions. That was a funny thread.

Re: When was DVDTalk's peak weirdness?

Where are Buttmunker and Spottedfeather when we need them?

And that guy, Chris-something, who insisted that movies had to be R-rated and over two hours to be worth anything.

And, of course, Solid Snake.

We're all getting older and mellower. The new members aren't bringing the crazy.

The glory years of the wm lopez era. Roughly around 2003 - 2010. And RyoHazuki's Nazi proclivities.

Hows this for weirdness:

I remember we had a mod named Kenwood who called Geoff in the middle of the night over the phone over some forum drama bs and Geoff popped up on the forum and banned Kenwood.

This is brilliant.

I'm sure Geoff would cry a tear while sipping some scotch, to see how his website has devolved ...
