Re: Favorite Cereal

I rarely eat it these days, but growing up it was Frosted Flakes.

Re: Favorite Cereal

I came in here expecting to see Fruit Loops, Cocoa Pebbles, Trix, etc. instead I get Grape Nuts, bran flakes, Grain Berry.

I think this marks the day when I finally concede that DVDTalk is a bunch of old fogies.

I look forward to our next thread: “How do you take your Metamucil?”

Definitely Raisin Bran. When I was a kid I used to put extra raisins in it.

Same here, except I make my own with plain bran flakes, and un-sugar-coated raisins.

Re: Favorite Cereal

I really like Apple Jacks, but not as food. It's more like candy.

Yup...the first post lists a cereal that looks like Kix (yuck, blander than bland) and one with grains, dude...seriously?

The first cereal listed should have been one that turns your milk brown, any cereal that turns your milk into chocolate milk is one that belongs on a list of favorites. Heck, I would have accepted Lucky Charms, Golden Grahams, Frosted Wheat (mini/regular), or Captain Crunch, and maybe even Frosted Flakes as ones that belong on this list. I outta drive you healthy fiber eating to keep you regular healthbots out of town on a rail.

For the record this 46 year old is still a fan of cocoa krispies, but I barely eat cereal anymore.

Re: Favorite Cereal

I try to not eat cereal as much in the mornings anymore, but I do like it dry as a sweet snack. Here's my favorite.

Re: Favorite Cereal

I feel silly with my choices seeing all these healthy cereals on other lists. I love cereal and will eat just about any. My favorites vary but some are:

Cap’N Crunch (all varieties)
Cocoa Krispies
French Toast Crunch
Fruity Pebbles
Frosted Flakes
Golden Crisp (or the Kellogg’s equivalent Honey Smacks)
Golden Grahams
Honey Nut Cheerios
Rice Krispies

Re: Favorite Cereal

Cocoa Puffs and Cocoa Pebbles.

I don't eat much cereal because milk fucks with my gut if I have it in the morning, but I still enjoy having those as snacks from time to time. I also do like Raisin Bran with a chopped up banana tossed in.

Raisin Bran. Started it as a teenager (and maybe even younger) and still enjoy it now.
