Got about a foot snow here in CO yesterday. Thought this picture was cool, and also trying out how to show an image....

Dang it

Ok fixed it.

I like the look of a bright blue sky with all the snow.

Re: Where's the snow? -- Winter 2017-18 thread

So as of 5:30am, what dusting we had received by 11:00pm last night has mostly melted with no new accumulation. I am starting to think that this is just a scam perpetrated by "Big Shovel" to trick the public into buying their remaining seasonal inventory.

At least there will be an easy drive to work since the Federal government and most of the schools closed.

Slushy mess for the commute this morning but thankfully it was not slick.

I'm in the mid-Atlantic area. Gov't and schools are shut down. The original forecast for my area was about 10". But when I got up this morning, everything was still clear. It started snowing a few hours ago and the revised forecast is 5-8".

Got up there and shoveled ours last week when an ice dam got so bad that water started coming through the ceiling inside the house. Did the entire roof in one day - was totally exhausted. I really believe their estimate of 30+ pounds per square foot. How many tons of snow did I move? Too many.

I had no idea about the weather on the West coast until I saw your post. My parents live in SoCal, so I called them to find out how they're doing. So while I'm on East coast getting hit with a snowstorm, my parents, and many others in their neighborhood, were given a mandatory evacuation notice because of fears of flooding or mud-slides.

We always have snow in March. Usually some nice storms. More in April and occasionally in May.

20 out this morning with a wind chill in the single digits. No snow though and a possible warm up on Tuesday high 40's maybe even 50.

I'm surprised Wester New York got literally none of this. For the last 3 weeks it's been bright and sunny and freezing - very weird stretch of weather.

60 today but predicting possibly 2 inches of snow for tomorrow with a high in the 30s. No white Christmas but a white Easter.

We've definitely been on the cold side but snow is right in line with an average winter. Everyone is pretty tired of the cold. A lot of Florida talk around the water coolers.

It snowed yesterday and will still be colder for the rest of the week. I think its "Winter's Last Stand".

Snowed from about 7am-2pm today. A good bit stuck to the grass but thankfully the roads were warm enough to melt on contact.
