^ If that's real, it looks like an accident begging to happen.

^ I'm on a FB eBike group and I just posted that pic with this caption:

"The mental picture I paint when I read about all the stuff some of you add to their handlebar."

As someone who had done the Grimace suit, that’s a bit… unsettling.

From left to right: Thor, John Wick, Captain America, Iron Man. Dead guy in front: Thanos - The big bad guy from the Marvel's Avengers movies.

They have a parking lot! Make sure you move your car before the tide comes in.

Thanks. Wow I'm out of touch. I've never seen any of the Marvel movies.

Yeah but even w/o seeing the movies, the characters have been around in comics, ads, etc. They are quite common icons, no?

An online retailer that sells stuff directly from China. They're infamous for their misrepresentation of their products. Like those ads in old comic books about buying a full-sized submarine for $1.

I occasionally buy stuff from them, but one has to be very careful in reading the description and the options in the pulldown menus.

Not in those representations. Thor and Ironman are nowhere near the same as their comic book versions... at least comics from 40 years ago (the last time I read comics)

I bought a new obsidian flat stone to use as an underwater stage. I tried it out yesterday for the first time.

I'd love to see a park that had adult sized Big Wheels you could ride.

Re: XLIII Random Pic Thread, The Knights Who Say "Ni!" edition.

When I was a kid I had road rash on half my face when I was playing with some older kids and went over the handle bars on their big wheel cause I was standing on the back.
I looked like Aaron Eckhart in The Dark Knight except I was more of a hunk.

You mean coloured and non-coloured.

True if you haven't seen the movies. And to be fair, until the MCU the majority of the general public (i.e. non-comics readers) likely had no idea who Iron Man or Thor were (let alone Thanos).

But you should watch some Marvel movies, they're fun.

The first Avengers movie, the first Guardians of the Galaxy movie, and the first Iron Man movie are fun. But they're mining a pretty narrow vein, and pretty soon the movies all start to look alike. Future generations will look at our comic book movies with tolerant amusement, the way we look at early 1960s television schedules that were packed with westerns.
