Seafood, nuts, chicken or other animals with wings. allergic to them all so I stay away. Can't stand the smell of nuts when someone opens a can and always afraid of having a reaction if the smell is too strong. I always felt like I would like the canned tuna fish, but can't try it,
I've also never liked coffee. My mom is from the UK, so tea was a staple in our household. Oddly she hates tea now and only drinks coffee. I still drink several cups of tea in a day. I also never could aquire a taste for beer. I used to try to tollerate it in social situation, but one can or glass would take me an hour or more to drink. Now I just order what I want if I want some alcohl and don't care what others think.

Right there with you. If it's anywhere in a dish I can't eat it.

I know what you mean. I enjoy beer but have had a couple that tasted like band-aids smell.

Natto (fermented soy beans). I don't know any non-Japanese person who likes this. The taste, the weird sticky, stringy texture, everything about it is absolutely disgusting. Too bad because it is apparently very healthy for you.

there are foods i dont really like (raw onions, cilantro) but i'll still eat stuff that has then in it. Given the choice, i'd rather have the dish without.
Brussel spouts get a bad rap but they're pretty good if you cut them in half, coat them with oil and pepper and grill them. or if you cut them in half an cook them in a covered pot with water and curry sauce until they're soft.
I never thought i liked sushi until i tried different kinds. Salmon sashimi is so good

Sweet Potatoes. They seem to be the popular, healthier thing these days but I hate them. Regular potatoes are my favorite food.

I still can't stand the taste of broccoli and green beans, but I've recently come to love the brussel sprouts. Cover them in olive oil with salt, pepper and garlic powder, then cook in the oven, increasing the temp in the last few minutes to give them a crispy outside.

Or if you cut them in half an cook them in a covered pot with water and curry sauce until they're soft, then let them sit untouched while you consume something edible.

That looks like Soursop.. I had some in Tahiti and I loved it. It starts out really soup but then get sweeter as you eat it. It's got a real goopy consistency. Most people didn't like it..

Indian food. Any of it. I love all other foods and will try anything once.
I have tried Indian several times in an attempt to like it - blah every time.
Also, IPA's. Once a great while I'll have one, but I'll take a sour any day for a "challenging" beer.

In my old job, an Asian woman bought cookies made out of that and before I even put it in my mouth I could smell it and it smelled like puke. I walked away and gave it to someone. That person took a bite and seconds later ran to the wastebasket and spit it out. He then went to the bathroom and stayed there for a while rinsing out his mouth. No wonder they call it stink fruit.

Count me in as someone who never developed a taste for beer either. God knows I've tried many times. I do love cooking with beer though. My beer marinated gyros is killer.

Yep, another person here ergo never acquired the taste for beer. I have tried. I can concede that some beers taste better than others, but I wouldn't want to drink a full bottle of any of them.

Beer
Chittlins
Spicy Foods. Particularly dishes that are more heat than flavor. Shit tastes bitter to me and ruins the meal.
