Was going to bump this thread but most of the links are dead (it's been 11 years.. so.. likely are most of the pets)

This is my cat. I can't believe I've had her for 16 or 17 years now.

This is our cat Chelsea. Those of you who know me know why she has that name. My wife named her, not me. She's quite rambunctious and very high energy. You can never play with her enough to completely calm her down. She's always getting into trouble and looking for attention.

She has a couple of toys that she carries all over the house with her. This is one of her 2 favorites.

Re: Pics of your pets thread - Pt2

This is Winchester. He's been my fiancee's cat for 9 years and now he's mine too. He's a good cat. Almost died about a month ago. It's a long story but he went from being totally normal one day, to clearly sick the next to being in a state called diabetic ketoacidosis the next day. He's doing better now, thankfully.

He's named after the brothers on the show Supernatural.

Gryphon and Isabeau. Alas, both passed away quite some time ago.

Moses is a scary Pet Semetary-looking cat. I ain't breaking into your house.

Mozart looks like he should be wearing a tweed suit, smoking a pipe and reading Camus.

Both look like awesome pets, and kudos to you for rescuing them.

Re: Pics of your pets thread - Pt2

Here's our rescue dog Mickey. We got him on the 4th of July in 2015. He was 9 months old at the time. We decided not to change his name for obvious reasons

My wife and I never had dogs before so it's been a learning experience. Lots of growing pains (he has a ton of energy all. The. Time) but we can't imagine life without him. Two big perks are that he's great on road trips and doesn't freak out in the slightest at storms. He does bark at everything that dares to walk through our neighborhood.

Moses is a Russian Blue - he spend most of his days checking out my wife's stitching on her quilts, he would just "hack" your email.

Mozart is an Australian shepherd - so it would likely be J. L. Mackie

- and thanks, adoption has blessed my family in many ways.

My cat, Tabitha. You can't see because she's under the covers, but she has her summer haircut (lion style--short everywhere, but tufts on her legs and tail, and her head unshaved.

Also, I had a thread here a long time about getting a dog--basically, how much info they wanted for a rescue. I had to give that much to a breeder, too (five references!). I paid my deposit and changed my mind, at least for now. I move a lot for work, and it didn't seem fair to introduce a dog into the family until I'm more settled.

Bulldogs are awesome. Sadly, a friend of mine just had to put his down, today. Broke my heart, to hear it, as he was such a big part of their family.

I'm loving all these pet pics. Bulldogs are my absolute favorite. Well, after Pomeranians. Oh, and German Shepherds. And Cane Corsos ...

Here are my whores. First up, Vibiana snuggled in my arms. She doesn't let me cuddle her like this anymore since my arm injury, the months in the cast made her skittish. Now she likes to lie on my left shoulder, like a baby being burped. She's eleven years old, but a very kittenish eleven.

[IMG][/IMG]

These other three are Mascara, age 12; Vigo, age 16; and Chanel, age 11. Vigo possesses the only penis allowed to live in my house on a permanent basis.

Re: Pics of your pets thread - Pt2

Love all the kitties here, and even the dogs are passable.

Our two babies (brother and sister) below, when they were kittens, and now. I can't believe they're turning 5 next month! Both have loving dispositions, but completely unique personalities. The black-and-white one, the girl, is more timid but sweeter, and loves to play with those little rubber balls on the stairs. The orange tabby, the boy, is a bit of a bully with his sister (not overly so), which I don't like, and he's only endearing with us when he wants to be, but when he's cuddly, he's cuddly. He and I sleep head-to-head almost every night.

My mom's dog, when he was younger:

And this is my deceased sweetheart, Simon, a few months before he died in 2013 at age 17. He was truly one of the good ones.
