Trump school project - Potential train wreck

Or maybe people should just respect the kids choice? But no everyone needs to be a dick all the time and let their personal feelings get in the way.

I'm going to hear him out. Like I said, there's a potential problem. I mean it could be real bad. The school is majority conservative, but it also certainly has many minorities. If he goes too supportive it could go bad. If he goes too negative it could be worse.
Another wrinkle in this is that the teacher is retiring. This will be his last day of work. He's no idiot. He's had to deal with this kid's behavior. He may be allowing this because he knows it will be explosive.

Sounds like a kid in one of my mom's classes. They were assigned to write about an artist on display at the local art museum. So he chose Hitler. Of course, Hitler doesn't have any art on display at the Des Moines Art Center, and he plagiarized most of his paper.
But that was a college student. At least third graders have an excuse for being dumb.

Today is the day!
I noticed my daughter's teacher's car has an interesting bumper sticker: Get Over It, She Lost
I took him for a rather hippy dippy dude. He plays in a rock band. But he's one of the faithful. This could be great.

Update: 3rd grade was not made great again.
The kid did a good job and there was nothing controversial. He worked in a couple jokes, but they weren't anything that would ruffle feathers.

That's disappointing.
I was hoping the update would include some type of Kathy Griffin-esque controversy!

Indeed. I figured this kid was going to mysteriously disappear and Mabuse would post photos of him chained to a radiator. Very disappointed.
I'm a single, white, lonely, overweight, introverted, 33 year old male. I am absolutely NOT allowed to start a thread to talk about some 3rd grade boy I barely know. If I ever do, you guys need to call the cops.

The day may have passed without incident, but I hear the Student Council is going to open up hearings about his dealings to have the lunch ladies serve Russian salad dressing. It's possible the computer club could be implicated.
Edited to add: Now he has pulled the third grade classes out of the Playground Accord which provides voluntary reductions to the number of accidents on playground equipment ... This madman must be stopped! The other grades are furious!
