Nope I've been GatorDeb EVERYwhere since 2001 (except MyFitnessPal, some lady got it so I'm GatorDeb1). And I started using MFP in 2009.

Re: Have you ever changed your user name?

Nope. Never even gave it any thought. Abob Teff since 1999 here. It actually goes back further than that -- back to AOL. I was an active and avid Star Wars collector in those early internet days. I had delusions of actually turning that hobby into some sort of side-business, but that gave way to life in general. I look at some of today's collecting sites, podcasts, the community, etc. and think "I was on the ground floor and bailed."

So, for all you trans-screen-named folks, is it really just about how you self-identify? How do you know which log-in to use? Are you conced rollbacks from the Trump Administration will force you to use your old log-in? Do you believe that really should be a state's rights issue?

Re: Have you ever changed your user name?

I wanted (and still want to) but I missed that "amnesty change" period. I used one name for pretty much all internet stuff, then needed to change it, and this is one of the two places I can't change it.

Re: Have you ever changed your user name?

I liked the name trespoochies. It was cute and interesting.

I've used the same name on most forums since 2001. For a while, I was the only person using the name.

I thought about it for a second, but then I realized why should I change. The famous person with the same name who might have committed a crime he is the one who should change his name and online nic's.

Re: Have you ever changed your user name?

No, I haven't. There haven't been very many name changes that I thought turned out better, aside from the ones that remove extraneous numbers. Add me in to the ones that liked scewadu, 12thmonkey, and trespoochies.

This. Changes should pretty much never be allowed imho.

Re: Have you ever changed your user name?

I don't like when people change their ID's either - I mean, do what you want but believe it or not, a certain personality is attached to a user id.

I mean, I 'm not close to anyone here but that's not the point - I've been indirectly talking to a lot of you for years now and while I finally joined another forum, it has nothing to do with losing interest in what people have to say here...it's because of how dead this place has become.

I don't even need to reply to enjoy posts by user id's I'm familiar with, most of the time I just enjoy the show.

I've never changed mine, but I do wish I had chosen something else when I signed up. C'est la vie.....

Re: Have you ever changed your user name?

I was Tanolen at first which is an old RPG name.. I was General Zod most everywhere else.. so just by simply asking and palming a $20 to the right person.. my name was changed.
