I chose four, but I had forgotten that I lived in OH until I was nearly a year old. It should be five: OH, NH, CA, GA, and NM.

Iowa, Oregon, Massachusetts, Washington, California, Texas, Arizona, Hawaii, Kentucky, Alaska, Idaho, New York, Delaware, and New Jersey. And South Carolina if basic training counts, but I never left the base. So 14 or 15. Ex military, then a military spouse, and now doing travel work, so it adds up.

California, Colorado, New York, Massachusetts, Alabama, Louisiana, Illinois, Arkansas, Alabama part II, Georgia, Louisiana part II, Maryland, DC, and Virginia. So...11 plus DC. The last three are kind of cheating though since I've simply lived in a few different places in and immediately around DC.
I have been to 49 states, checking off New Mexico just a few months ago. The one I am missing is South Dakota.

Only one. In fact still live in the same region I was born in. Never went away to college so that doesn't count. The closest I came to living somewhere else was when I was working downstate on LI. I had an apartment where I lived for part of the week.

Four: IL, MA, NY, CT
I was born in IL, but only lived there for a month or two before we moved to MA. I went to college in NY, but otherwise lived in MA for my first 31 years. Been in CT for the last 6.

Three, NY, VA and FL. I had a NV license because we were going to move there but we never did. Almost moved to GA as well but didn't.
My wife has lived in a ton of states, her folks moved around a lot as a kid. UT, CA, CO, OH, NV, NY, VA, FL.
