Saw it on Reddit. This guy seems to have had a lot of dumb buyers on his page.

That's great. Didn't know you could embed audio onto an eBay listing.

I see they posted that in 2011.

Ebay is banning embedded content in their Fall Update.

I remember the Blockbuster stores selling those cards when they were closing, then having people come back in saying they "forgot to put the movies in them".

That's a pretty good price for the DVD! I wonder if it's still available?

Not much help if you don't have your speakers on.

Re: Since this is DVDTalk, figured this video should be shared here.

When I worked at Tower, there was a time when the Toy Story movies (just two at the time) were "in the vault" in the US, but still in print in Australia, so the Tower website had the option to buy those with the side note "PAL/RC-4". Somehow, many people didn't know what that meant, and called up angry that they couldn't play them in their "normal" DVD players.

Finally someone added a lengthy paragraph to the product description, saying basically "These DVDs are imports from Australia and are coded for region 4 and also in PAL format- please make sure your equipment is compatible with these!" Someone STILL bought them and complained, and when I read the website description word-for-word she just said "Well, not everybody reads everything before ordering something!" The call ended with her alleging that I was saying that I was smart and she was stupid- I never said those exact words, but she was still right

I must find a way to contact that seller and ask him if the item he's selling is a DVD.

mhg83, where the hell have you been?!

It's not a DVD, but whatever it is I am sure Alan Smithee has two or three of them.

I actually do not own a SINGLE backer card. I've always hated Blockbuster and was very happy to see them fall.

I lost my job when Tower Records was shut down- and they never used backer cards.
