I put it in otter as it could apply to TV or movies... but has any child actor playing a younger version of an older actor ever actually grow up to LOOK a lot like that older actor IRL?

Mila Kunis played the young Angelina Jolie in Gia. They're not an exact match, but if someone told me they were sisters I would buy it.

Not a child, but Max von Sidow looked in The Exorcist (70s), like he would look like when was old.

That's because Dick Smith really knew his craft.

Kate Hudson and Goldie Hawn. Many parent child actors could fit this category.

In Now & Then (a terrible movie, BTW). Thora Birch played a younger version of Melanie Griffith (maybe Dakota Johnson was too young). She grew up to be pretty close.

and thankfully, they were horribly wrong about Christina Ricci.

not the question, unless Kate played a younger version of a character played by Goldie Hawn in a movie I'm not aware of...
