Would you get a penis transplant? (1st successful in US)

i think this is amazing for those who suffer from disease that affects the organ. Also, can be used for injured soldiers and such.

i don't know though. i guess there is always a chance of rejection so only time would tell, but that is so amazing for those that truly need.

Would you if put in a situation where you would need one?

There certainly is a chance of rejection.

Probably not. However, after I'm dead and gone, I would be willing to donate mine to two black guys or four white guys in need. Or all of Tokyo.

If you were affected by cancer or some other terrible disease that destroyed your penis and it was no longer of any use, then transplant would be best to at least attempt to re-use that organ.

From the article: "Dr. Dicken Ko."

I guess if you're going to have this done, Dr. Dicken is the guy you want doing it.

Damn autocorrect ... You meant erection, not rejection.

My penis has dealt with enough rejection in this life, so the answer is no.

Re: Would you get a penis transplant? (1st successful in US)

I wonder in 25 years if some men would get them for "cosmetic" reasons the way some women do breast augmentation.

And if so, would you go in and select the size/style you wanted? Kind of like the nose cards that Steve Martin tried out in Roxanne.

And more importantly will ObamaCare cover it?

On a serious note, science is cool! For these guys, think it is awesome.

Twenty five years? I was slightly involved with the development of botox. They told us it was for treatment of a rare disease that affected the muscles of the eye. Only three years later, it was being advertised as a cure for wrinkles.

I can guarantee you that someone out there right now is trying to figure out how to create and sell the Ron Jeremy model. Healing car-crash victims is all well and good, but it won't make anyone rich.

Would it come with a little tattoo of Ron's autograph?

Doctors should've implanted an erection device based on The Clapper.

Re: Would you get a penis transplant? (1st successful in US)

By the way, I could cut off half, give it to printerati and still be bigger.

My guess is the member itself is the easy part. Isn't getting the blood to flow and all the nerve endings the real trick?

It could certainly be a good fix for the guys with micro-penis. I guess I'd rather have a full size member even if it came from someone else than have one of those little doggie dicks.

I'm not sure consumers will want anything clap related associated with that area.

Hopefully, Mandingo has filled out his organ donor card.
