Expressions or Cliched remarks that you hate/annoy you

What typical expressions or cliches that you see posted here or written in other places that just drive you....

#1 on my list. Can't stand this expression:

"I dunno"

For me that's just nails on a chalk board every time I see it written. For me it just sounds like a dumb shortcut to articulate "I don't know"

Others:

"It's better than 90% of the other shows/movies out there"

"I enjoyed it for what it is"

"Leave your brain at the door"

I'm sure there are many others, but that's what I can think of at the moment. What about for the rest of you.

I agree with this. Especially when it appears in threads for pretty much any show. There's clearly NOTHING on TV right now that's better than the other 90%. That hasn't been close to true for more than a decade.

"It's a no-brainer"

Almost exclusively used when talking about things that are a matter of opinion.

When people use "honestly" in front of a statement. As if everything else they say is a lie.

If I use that it's because I'm going to say something that goes against popular opinion, or even against what I normally feel, and I want to emphasize that.

I laugh at whatever a gal in my office says. My current favorite is "Well, hindsight is 50/50."

"You know what happens when you assume. It makes an ass of u and me."

I've thrown things at someone for saying that.

They usually trot it out to "score" in a discussion, rather than deal with the problem.

"It's a mute point."
"It's a moose point"

Said by the same person who I used to work with. I wanted to punch her every time, right in the moose.

Honestly, at the end of the day, I could care less what any of you fuckers say. It's a mute point.

"It is what it is"

I had a supervisor that says that all the time, and that made it even more annoying.

I also hate when adults describe food as "yummy!"
