I've been drinking the hell out of Pibb Zero lately.

Pibb is my favorite drink but I've yet to see a Zero anywhere. I hate diet drinks but I'd give it a shot.

It's very good. Not all the grocery stores carry it though, I agree.

I've seen it in the Coke Freestyle machines. They have it at Kings Island.

Oh, man! I didn't even know Pibb Zero existed! I haven't seen it in any stores around here, but then again, I wasn't looking for it.

My new addiction is Mello Yello Zero. I discovered it a couple of months ago, and only two stores in my town carry it (a quick mart and a grocery store). So things aren't looking good for finding the Pibb Zero based on the scarcity of Mello Yello Zero around here.

Mellow Yellow Zero is one diet that I can tolerate. Not bad.

I got addicted to Mello Yello Zero years ago. The problem with Mello Yello is that it seems to disappear and then reappear years later. You'll get hooked and then not see Mello Yello around anymore. In there absence I moved onto Pepsi Max and Coke Zero and never went back once they started selling it locally anymore.

How much do you see the MD crafted cans sell for?

I said $1 at dollar general but it was actually $1.65 which is about the same as a 20oz bottle of soda .

The apple kiwi was actually good but 1 can was enough to hold me for awhile.
I treat myself to the 1861 Pepsi cans. I like the ginger and the Kola nut.
The new berry one is ok but the other new one with a grapefruit base isn't great.

I prefer the smaller 12 oz pepsi cans of real sugar vanills.

Can are small so I can grab one and drink it without having to drink a large can of soda.

I never buy 2 liter because even though it's really cheap I'll never drink enough of it before it goes flat.

I don't mind flat soda; I actually prefer it to the over-carbonated offerings that make me do nothing but belch.

The new cans sell for $2.19 each in my area; too rich for my blood for only 12 oz, which is a mere few sips.

I can agree with this. I am not a fan of diet drinks but Pibb Zero is the best in my opinion.

The new Mtn Dew cans are 16oz.

Re: slop101's Official Soda / Cola Thread!

I'm drinking the Mountain Dew Spiked Raspberry Lemonade. Not the biggest fan of it really. It's not terrible but there's kind of a funky taste to it. Maybe it's the prickly pear cactus juice it's "spiked" with. I didn't realize that was in it and am not a fan of pears in general.

I couldn't taste the pear at all in the one I had.

Not sure if that's what I tasted. Either way I wasn't a big fan. Of the new flavors I like the Green Label best.

Found this at a local gas station. Mountain Dew. S.A. It combines Code Red, White Out, and Voltage. Not bad actually.

Re: slop101's Official Soda / Cola Thread!

If it combines all of those Dew flavors, you probably can't taste any one of them distinctly. Sounds like a weird kitchen-sink concoction. Just call it Dew Fruit Punch and be done with it. Shucks, can't do that because there's no REAL fruit in it, and it'd be false advertising...

Either way it's a pretty good flavor of Dew in my opinion. One of the better varieties I've had. I mostly like the original and on occasion Code Red.

Re: slop101's Official Soda / Cola Thread!

Grabbed one earlier. I'll try it tomorrow.

I'm glad Dew keeps things fresh and trying new stuff (even though the last 3 I tried were not good :lol). Doritos has been sucking it up in the variety/new flavors department for about 5 years now.

According to the little bit of research I did online, Pibb Zero is only available to stores in the Atlanta area. That stinks!

Re: slop101's Official Soda / Cola Thread!

Yeah, will have to try and find a bottle of Dew S.A. in the OC.

Incidently, I caved to the new Dewshine "premium" product, the berry one, because they're down to 99 cents at my local dollar store. In a word, it was terrible. Hardly any flavor, it tasted like watered-down regular Code Red and / or Berry Blast. Not a fan.

Re: slop101's Official Soda / Cola Thread!

I had a Dew S. A. on the weekend. It was alright... my wife hated it, though.
It would have been cooler if the bottle somehow had three 'sections' to keep the three flavors from mixing until you poured it into your mouth.

Tried the "original" Pepsi 1851 or whatever it's called and didn't really like it. Still have the other two old flavors to try.
