Water we talking about again? Oh, right. H2O

At home we drink tap water which tastes just fine unfiltered. We usually add a little fizz to it with our carbonator.

How about you?

Bottled water, typically just from Costco.

Fridge water, essentially tap filtered through the fridge dispenser.

Usually bottled. More times than most after a workout.

I don't like using bottled water exclusively. Buy it occasionally, refill with tap water. Better for the earth.

Filtered fridge water, it removes chlorine and I don't have to run the tap to get cold water.

Tap. When I travel, bottled because some hotels use softeners that can increase the sodium levels (or at least that was true years ago).

Brita pitcher. I change the filter every 9 months or so, if I think of it.

Re: Water we talking about again? Oh, right. H2O

Tap water at home with a Brita filter just because I believe there are excessive mineral deposits in my water. (My dishes get hard water stains extremely easily.)

If you're at home and your home isn't in a third world country, why in the world would you drink bottled water at home? Bottled water is okay for when you're on the go, but at home it's just stupid. Don't believe the marketing hype that bottled water is healthier than tap water.* Unless you're in a third world country, tap water is just fine.

*I always get a good laugh at Wal-Mart because the ice machine there says it is healthier than homemade ice. WTF. It's ice. Frozen water. Store bought ice isn't any different than homemade.

I drink lots of water. Use a pitcher/filter at home quite a bit. Bottled water at times.

Re: Water we talking about again? Oh, right. H2O

We do a mix of tap and bottled water. The amount of chlorine in our tap water affects both the smell and the taste to the point where I rarely drink it "plain", but I have a hard time noticing it when I use it to make a pitcher of iced tea, lemonade, etc.

Bottled water is tap water, so there's little difference.

In our house, the wife drinks from a Brita-filtered pitcher, while I'm fine straight from the tap.

BTW tap water in Alaska tastes cleaner and fresher than any bottled water I've *ever* had. It's like they tap a glacier or something...

Built in water dispenser in the refrigerator door, which has an inline filter.

Pur large capacity with filter. Sits on top of the fridge. I like room temperature water and drink about a gallon a day. When I need water on the road I buy SmartWater. Arrow is the worst tasting stuff I've ever had. I'd take tap over that every day.

RO under the sink. That's a staple of the Stiffler household.

We drink bottled water at home. The tap water smells funky.

Not in all cases, but that's definitely true of Aquafina and Dasani.

Your poll doesn't offer multiple choices.

Albuquerque tap water, bottled fizzy water from Costco, and a water cooler of filtered water.

I don't know about Ft Lauderdale, but Sarasota water was the worst I've ever had. It was like drinking swimming pool water. I assumed it was because Florida is mostly swamp, and it needed that much chlorine.

Is it really just tap? Or is it RO? Our tap water is somewhat gross here in the Phoenix suburbs. It's not undrinkable. But it definitely tastes funny.

I have (was suckered into) the Rain Soft equivalent, as well as the whole house system. Our drinking water is amazing. (as it should for their asinine prices)

The kicker, supposedly Louisville has some of the best tap water in the country.

I'll buy a 24 pack of Dasani and refill with the filtered water. That 24 pack usually lasts 6 months.

I've got a Pur 2-stage water filter I keep in the refrigerator- had it for a month or so and so far, so good.
