When was the last time you used a pencil?
I noticed that one of Amazon's "Prime Day" deals was an electric pencil sharpener.
I can't even remember the last time I picked up a pencil.
Maybe thirty years ago.

Probably a week ago. They're in my pencil cup at work. I take notes with them when I don't have a pen.

Every fall I sing in a choir that joins with the Kansas City Symphony Chorus to present an annual performance of Handel's Messiah. The only time I ever use a pencil is during choir season, to mark my score.

Trivia league and a golf pencil. Beyond that a pencil works better than a pen for drawing an item on paper to cut out with scissors.

Less than an hour ago. A couple of coworkers and I take turns on the local free paper's daily crossword.
Outside of that, nothing but black or red pens.

A few days ago, had to mark some trim and drywall for cutting. Our preschooler grabs one every time we go to Ikea. I can't remember the last time we bought one.

A few weeks ago to mark some wood for cutting.
But outside of carpentry, the last time I used a pencil was probably when I couldn't find a pen.

Well, for all of you folks still using pencils on a regular basis, I hope you got in on that Amazon "Prime Day" deal for the pencil sharpener.
