Are You Sticking To Your New Years Resolutions?

I am personally flagging a bit behind due to a bit of the Achilles tendinitis.

My Resolution was to tie my physical media purchases to miles ran. I am currently 50 miles behind

I made my resolution attainable: avoid Fred Meyer stores. So far, so good, and it's been a happier shopping year.

My resolution was to have more sex, so no, not even close to keeping that.

Re: Are You Sticking To Your New Years Resolutions?

I don't think I even made any this year.

Ten years ago, I made one new years resolution, and it was a big one. To get a new career. I did it that year, so as far as I'm concerned I've used my quota of resolutions.

I am trying to keep up with the two things I need to do in life, which is to try and take better care of myself (who doesn't have this one?) and to live up to my personal mantra, "no more compromises".

That's a pretty good one, it'll make you a new and better person if you do it right. Or do anything new, stupid, spontaneous, or vaguely interesting. Which I also haven't.

Compromise is the essence of diplomacy .

I work there, OK? Back off ! And it's spelled Meijer. And our efficiency is the United States Marine Corps compared to Walmart.

Mine is to finally get a therapist I like to try to fix my life. Haven't even tried yet. Didn't have much like with the last few.

Yeah, well, I gave up Walmart Superstores, too. Basically any store that sells both shoes and watermelons is not for me.

Perhaps your resolution should have been to go out west and experience new grocery stores with similar names.
