You're kinda on your own with that opinion. For the price, there's really nothing better out there.

Yeah, it's cheap enough but it's not worth the effort or the fucking hassle. Overrated to the extreme.

Yeah, I'm not a fan of In n Out either. But I think if we compare both, In n Out is better.
Both chains are really popular, have a huge following, etc.

Many of those images are just outright disgusting and gross.

I like a burger that doesn't look like a massacre from a horror movie. I don't mind fat, but just slapping a greasy burger...on a greasy bun...with greasy cheese...is not my idea of a great time eating a burger.

Burger from a local food-truck. The bacon and the smashed avocado compliment each other perfectly, and still bring out the flavor of the beef and both cheeses.

Re: Determining the Best Burger

I'm not a Brie fan but I went to a local joint earlier in the summer and had a "B&B." Bacon + Brie + jalapeno jam and maybe one other topping. The menu said "no substitions, period, including adding lettuce, tomato or onion. Trust us, it's delicious".

I trusted them and they didn't lie. It was the best burger I've had in a long while.

They also had deep fried brussel sprouts with some kind of glaze. They were damn delicious as well. On top of that I got some habenero honey to dip my fries in. Fantastic.

Oh man, the whole meal was a 10. My mouth is watering just thinking about it.

I sort of agree with that. Actually In and Out in L.A. is awesome. Outside of L.A. especially in the S.F. bay area it tastes like shit. I don't know why that is so but it's true. A lot of people I know say the same thing. I work in L.A. sometimes and I like going to In and Out. I totally avoid it here in N. Cal. Totally different.
