Pizza Crust

Do you

~ leave the crust as "pizza bones"
~ eat every bit

bonus questions: if you eat every bit, do you dip? If a pizza crust is really good, is it necessary to dip the crust?

Re: Pizza Crust

It'd have to be really bad crust (like burned or cracker-like) for me to leave it.

Re: Pizza Crust

Depends on how much I like the crust; sometimes i'll eat it, sometimes I won't. Probably pretty even.

Re: Pizza Crust

I always eat the crust. I never dip it. I love stuffed crust pizza though, and eat it most of the time.

Why not? The rest of the pizza has sauce, why is dipping the crust in sauce weird?

The crust would have to be terrible for me not to eat it.

Re: Pizza Crust

If the crust is hard as a rock - I won't eat it... I'd just eat the pizza as far to the crust as possible.

Otherwise, I'll eat the crust. I love the soft crust.

Re: Pizza Crust

Usually, I eat the crust plain, however at one pizzeria I dip my crust in ranch dressing.

Yep. If it's like that I usually only eat it if I have some marinara or alfredo sauce to dip it in.

Exactly. It's like a bread stick, which is almost always offered with dipping sauces. Nothing remotely unusual with dipping pizza crust.

Re: Pizza Crust

I never eat the crust. I'm not a big fan of bread. My roommate will usually eat the pizza bones I leave.

Re: Pizza Crust

If crust is good, I'll eat it. I sometimes dip in marinara/pizza sauce or the garlic butter from Papa John's. My brother dips it in Thousand Island (yuck).
At a buffet, if the crust isn't great, I won't eat all of it.
Nor do I eat the rice at sushi buffets

I managed a sushi restaurant that had a buffet and they hate when you don't eat the rice. The rice is meant to fill you up and if the owner at my restaurant saw people not eating the rice they wouldn't allow them to take any more nigiri.

Re: Pizza Crust

The crust runs under the whole pizza, you would need a fork to eat the pizza without eating the crust.

Your roommate will eat crust you've eaten off of? You mean 'lover' or 'spouse', not roommate, right?

We're best buds, though, it's cool. Just two dudes sharing pizza crust, what's weird about that?

Same. Generally if it's plain crust, I won't eat it, but if it has some sort of seasoning I will.

I wouldn't share food with my best bud. I don't think most straight males would.

Great, now I can't get the image out of my head of DaveyJoe and his roommate sharing pizza crust Lady and the Tramp spaghetti scene style.

Maybe you've got issues w/ your sexuality?

Granted... my roomate and I share our food. But she's a female. And we're fuck buddies so... I guess my point is kind of moot.
