Story responds.

One of the most fascinating side effects of choosing a username like "story," one that is simply an everyday word, is it's tough to tell when people are addressing you, specifically. It's easy to miss people asking you questions or telling you how awesome you are. You just have to hope you notice they quoted your post. The other odd side effect is even though it's sometimes hard to tel when people are talking to you, it also seems like people are talking to you all the time because, well, most everything we discuss around here involves story.

Rather than hijack other threads, I've decided to take some of the more choice examples and respond to you here.

Let's kick this thing off with something obvious:

Whoah, talk about mixed messages! Didn't realize I had to rely on my looks so much because of my vapid personality. He continues:

Enjoyable story

Spacey is great, story goes off the rails halfway through, still a lot of fun.
There are so many mixed messages there, chuckd21, I don't even know where to begin. Maybe you're junk but pretty, ever think of that?!

Keep my wife out of this. And stay out of my levels, man. Not. For. You.

While I know art and his adult entertainment preferences are well-loved around here, I don't think it's nice to call him terrible, let alone lump me in with him as terrible, too!

I'm just a simple man, trying to walk the earth. You know, like Kane in Kung-Fu.

Do you think I like being this same old story?! I'm doing everything I can! I mean, I vote! I get appropriately outraged about shared articles on Facebook! What more do you need?

I've been growing this beard since I was 18, thank you very much.

That's enough for today. We'll see what the future brings for "Story Responds."

If the admins change your name to "Oneliner", will this thread become mercifully shorter?

It's the same old story all over again.
You turn a lover into just another friend.
I want to love you, I want to make you mine.
Won't you lay it on the line?

I use the same defense for all those "majorjoe23 murders children" and "someone broke into my home and strangled my chinchilla, I'm pretty sure it was majorjoe23" posts.

It's still the same old story.

Re: Story responds.

An Asian man once told me as he backed over me in a grocery parking lot: "I like good story."

Now it all makes sense.
